Touch and Go with Stacy Clark: Live Interview at Hardrock Cafe


Four years old and running around while singing as her grandfather would play the accordion. This was the first stage for Stacy Clark.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, the singer-songwriter currently resides in Orange County with her newly wedded husband, Aaron. Now 30 years-old, Stacy has had an impressive career so far and its only just beginning.

Since her first EP in 2002 called, “Movement”, one in 2006 called, “Unusual”, and her latest release from 2010 called, “Connect The Dots”. Her music has also appeared on 20 television shows including The Hills, Engaged and Underaged, Girlfriends, and she’s been featured on MTV. Stacy has been nominated for 13 music awards, and she’s won 7 awards including Best Female Performer, Best Out of County Artist (Inland Empire Awards), and Best Pop.

One of Stacy’s most impressive accomplishments as an independent artist was the sale of her song, “White Lies” where she topped an impressive 420,000 downloads on iTunes, beating out Lady Gaga for sales in a single day [1]

No longer with Vanguard Records, Stacy is currently writing and working on a new music projects with a new band and some new songs for a brand new album that she will be self-releasing later this year or in 2012.

“It is a lot of hard work, but also very rewarding. I am at a very happy place right now, Stacy said.
